After the successful launch of Honor 20 Series, now company has launched two new smartphone, the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro which are budget and mid-range smartphones, with this company is trying to tackle with Redmi and Realme smartphones which are doing well in the market all due to their aggressive pricing strategy. An by going the same idea of Redmi and Realme, both of these smartphone comes with full screen without any notch or punch hole display, instead they will have a motorized pop-up selfie camera.

Honor 9X And Honor 9X Pro

If you are following all leaks and stories of these smartphones then you must know company has worked hard on its design, both of these smartphones comes with astounding X-shaped pattern on the rear panel and to achieve this, Honor has used a 21-layer process.

Both of these smartphones comes with 6.59-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD display, with 2340×1080 pixels resolution, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and impressive 92% screen-to-body ratio, as told earlier, there is no notch or punch hole on the display.

Under the hood, it is powered by the newly launched Kirin 810 chipset which is said to be more powerful than the Snapdragon 730, along with this we have up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.

Honor 9X Honor 9X Pro

When it comes to the camera front, Honor 9X features a dual-camera setup of a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor and a secondary sensor of 2MP which is a depth sensor, while Honor 9X Pro, on the other hand, has a third snapper as well which is 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor, it means, the Honor 9X Pro has triple camera setup of 48MP+8MP+2MP.

Both of them have got the company’s own AIS 2.0 feature onboard for stable night mode shots.

Both of these phones comes with a 16MP (f/2.2) camera which is pretty much fast when it comes to opening or closing, and it will also retract when it detects a fall.

Both of these smartphones houses a 4,000mAh battery which seems pretty good to give juice for full day. For connectivity, it supports LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C.

Instead of going with trend and having in-display finger print sensor, company has opted for finger print sensor on power button, similar to what we have seen on Honor 20 Series.

When it comes to the software front, Honor 9X series runs Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9 out-of-the-box.

Pricing Of Honor 9X Series –

The Honor 9X has been priced starting at 1,399 yuan (roughly Rs 14,500) for 6GB+64GB variant, while 6GB+64GB variant is priced 1,599 yuan (roughly Rs 16,500) and the 6GB+128GB variant  is priced 1,899 yuan (roughly Rs 19,500).

On the other hand, the Honor 9X Pro is priced at 2,199 yuan (roughly Rs 22,200) for 8GB+128GB variant, and the 8GB+256GB variant is priced at 2,399 yuan (roughly Rs 24,300)
