Its no doubt that Google Chrome is one of the most widely used web browser out there, it brings lots of features.  In Chrome when you download something it will be shown in a fat download bar which is placed at the bottom of the screen and it will be there until you click on X icon.

Some of you might like it but others hate it, like I do. You could use a download manager like IDM or like so that when you click on any download link then it will passed to Download Manager and it will handle it, but if you are not using any download manager and wants to get rid of that fat download bar then you could use Downloadr, a Google Chrome Extension.

Chrome_Downloadr

It removes that download bar and moves all your downloads to a single icon placed at toolbar, its very much similar to of Mozilla Firefox download bar.

Icons color indicate the status of download and shows whether download is currently in progress or completed, once you click on icon you will get full list of all downloads.

Each download is listed with its icon, file size and an option to show in folder, you can double click on fie and it will opens it by the default file handler on the system. There is also an option to clear all downloads from list which will clear the list.

Final Words :-

It good extension as it saves you time which you spent on clicking on X icon, it moves all your downloads bar behind a single small icon placed on your toolbar.
