As expected, today at ongoing Computex 2016, Taiwan-based company, Asus has announced its latest series of smartphones, the Asus Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 3 Ultra which not only comes with new and updated specs but they also comes with new design language as in past we had seen everyone criticising Asus for using same design language across its all devices.

Asus Zenfone 3

When it comes to Asus Zenfone 3, it comes with metal frame with glass at the front and at the rear, it flaunts a 2.5D curved 5.5inch FHD display, under the hood, it runs on Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz, it comes in two variants, 32GB internal storage with 3GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage with 4GB of RAM.

When it comes to the photographic front, it features a 16MP rear camera with laser-AF, dual-tone LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture, it also features 4-axis OIS and 3-axis EIS which let you capture blur-free images, there is an 8MP front-facing camera with a wide-angle lens of 88-degrees for selfies lovers as well. For connectivity, it supports WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4G, VoLTE, and USB Type-C with support for Quick Charging.

Company has also introduced fingerprint sensor with this device which is placed at the back, just below your camera module. When it comes to software scenario it runs on Android 6.0.1 based Marshmallow. The price of Zenfone 3 starts from $249, company hasn’t said anything as of now for Indian launch.

Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra

Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra is a phablet which features massive 6.8 display full HD IPS display screen. One of the talking points of this device is its full metal unibody design with hidden antenna bands.

Under the hood, it is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 SoC along with 4GB of RAM and has got 64GB of onboard storage.

When it comes to the photographic department, Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra features a 23-megpaixel rear camera with PDAF, dual tone LED flash, OIS and 4K video recording capabilities, there is an 8MP front-facing camera with a wide-angle lens of 88-degrees for selfies lovers as well. It has got a massive 4600 mAh battery.

For connectivity, it supports WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4G, VoLTE, and USB Type-C with support for Quick Charging, and there is a fingerprint scanner placed on the home button of the device. When it comes to software scenario it runs on Android 6.0.1 based Marshmallow.

Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra will be available in grey, silver, and gold colors, and its price would start from $479. Again there is no word on India launch.
