Yesterday at ZenFestival, Asus has launched couple of devices like Asus ZenFone Selfie (Review), Asus ZenFone Deluxe , and one device which attracts most of the users was the Asus ZenFone 2 Laser, which is again the upgraded version of Asus ZenFine 2 (First Impression | Review) which company has launched earlier this year. This photographic centric smartphone comes in three variants, Asus ZenFone 2 Laser ZE500KL (2GB RAM) priced Rs. 9,999, Asus ZenFone 2 Laser ZE500KL (3GB RAM) priced Rs. 13,999, Asus ZenFone 2 Laser ZE601KL price Rs. 17,999.

Asus ZenFone 2 Laser

The main USP of this smartphone is its laser auto focus at the back of the device which we have seen on LG G3 last year, company claims that this ZenFone 2 Laser can aufocus on an object in just 0.3 seconds.

Asus ZenFone 2 Laser comes in two screen variant, 5.5inch display (ZE550KL) with HD screen resolution and 6 inch (ZE601KL) with full HD display resolution, screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, under the hood ZE550KL variant is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and comes in 2GB or 3GB RAM variant, while the ZE601KL variant is powered 64 Bit Snapdragon 615 processor along with 3GB of RAM.

All devices comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. When it comes to camera front, it comes with 13MP rear camera with laser auto focus and dual tone flash, at front it has an 5MP front facing camera fro sefies as well.

ZE500KL variant houses 2070 mAh battery while then ZE601KL variant houses an 3000 mAh battery, for connectivity it includes WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G/LTE, Dual SIM, Micro USB and GPS, and when it comes to software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop wrapped under ZenUI.
