Todays MacRumors has reported that Apple has started shipping its Lightning to 30-pin Adapter to customers in Australia. Apple has sent email to notify their customers who had placed order for Lightning to 30-pin Adapter.

Its almost 4 weeks after the launch of iPhone 5 when Apple has started shipping these adapters. Email says that their order is in transit and is expected to reach them by 9 October 2012.

These Adapter allows you to connect your new lighting connector enabled devices like iPhone 5 and iPod 5th Generation to older accessories which support older 30 pin adapter dock.

Apple is selling 2 models of these adapter, Direct Adapter which cost $29 and a Adapter which short cable which cost $39
