Last year Yota has announced its dual screen phone named YotaPhone and then we had seen it in Mobile World Congress earlier this year. This phone has created news due to its dual screen, this phone features dual screen, one is LCD primary display and another one is e-ink based secondary one.

However its been almost a year of its announcement but Russian company hasn’t launched it. But now news is coming that company has decided to launch it before Christmas.

As per specs YotaPhone flaunts a 4.3 inch primary display screen with 720p screen resolution and a 4.3 inch secondary electronic paper display with 360×640 pixels screen resolution. It is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage.

Other features of YotaPhone area an 13 megapixel primary camera with autofocus and LED,  and a 1 megapixel front camera. For connectivity it includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS and 3G and for sensors it has Accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, proximity and ambient light sensor.

On the software front, YotoaPhone is equipped with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean version along with special YotaPhone gestures and Put2Back applications for the back/secondary screen.

Company hasn’t announced its pricing yet but it could be somewhere around $500, you can pre-book a device for yourself from HERE.
