Xolo has announced a new android smartphone which is targeted to youth gaming enthusiasts, the Xolo Play 8X-1200 is a octa-core processor powered smartphone which runs on Android KitKat.

If we talk about detailed specs then, Xolo Play 8X-1200 flaunts a 5-inch full HD IPS 1080p display screen which is powered by a MediaTek MT6592T “true” octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz paired with Mali450 GPU and has 2GB of RAM, it comes with 32GB of internal storage and misses memory expansion.

At back Xolo Play 8X-1200 features a 13-megapixel rear with dual LED flash, PureCel sensor, can record 1080p videos, it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor, it houses a 2,300mAh battery. For connectivity it has 3G (HSDPA: 21 Mbps, HSUPA: 5.76 Mbps), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG and dual SIM, as per software front, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.

At this price tag and specs Xolo Play 8X-1200 will compete against Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus, the Micromax Canvas Knight A350 and some other octa core smartphone.
