After so much of rumors and expectations finally Xiaomi has launched its latest flagship smartphone Mi4 in an event held in Shanghai which comes with good set of hardware’s. It is the successor of Xiaomi Mi3 which went for sale today in India.
If we talk about specs of Xiaomi Mi 4 comes with a 5 inch full HD 1080p display screen, under the hood its powered by a Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz along with 3GB of RAM and has 16GB/64GB of internal storage.
At back Xiaomi Mi4 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 along with a 8-megapixel front-facing camera, it houses a 3,080mAh battery. Xiaomi has used metals for the first time on its smartphones, there is a metal frame around the device, which gives us resemblance of Apple iPhone 5S, at back it has swappable, slightly curved plastic back cover.
For connectivity it has LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and Micro USB port. If we talk about software, then Xiaomi Mi 4 runs on forked version of Android which Xiaomi used on its phones. Its been launched at CN¥1,999/$320 for the 16GB version, and CN¥2,499/$400 for the 64GB version. At this price and specs it compete with top smartphones like iPhone 5S and Samsung Galaxy S5.
