As told earlier, Chinese Mobile vendor Vivo Mobile is planning to launch world’s slimmest phone, the Vivo X5 Max which could be just 3.8mm thick and might be world’s thinnest phone, which at present is the Oppo R5 which was recently launch and earlier World’s thinnest phone title was with Gionee S5.1. In teaser Vivo Mobile shown that X5 Max will be just half of the iPhone 5S in the thickness which lead us to 3.8mm thickness.

Now as per latest leaks coming from TEENA’s database which suggest this thin profile smartphone will comes with large display screen, it will have 5.5 inch display screen which as per us not a comfortable size, it might feel little awkward in hand when you hold a big phone which is slim at the same time. Official teaser do mention that this thickness is achieved only by using a single sided dense motherboard or you can say art of engineering.

If we talk about some other specs then it could be powered by Octa-Core MediaTek processor ticking along with 2GB RAM on-board, as per photography front it will have 13-megapixel rear snapper along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It will be interesting to see whether Vivo maintain 3.5mm audio jack or remove it just like Oppo has done with R5. Nothing is mentioned about battery but we are not expecting anything to surprise us in this segment.
