Along with the launch of Gear S2 and Gear S2 Classic, the company has also added a new product to their portfolio and launched its Virtual Reality headset, the Gear VR which is powered by Oculus, and it will be exclusively available online on Flipkart at the price tag of Rs. 8,200, and soon it will be available on select offline stores like Croma and Reliance Digital.
To make your experience richer, it has got Accelerator, Gyrometer, and Proximity which also helps to detect mounting and unmounting of the headset. This Gear VR weighs just 310 grams which mean its 19 per cent lighter than the Innovator Edition launched earlier.
In terms of design it has foam on the inside, which makes it very comfortable to wear, and an elastic Velcro strap to keep it on the place, inside of this VR you have glass which lets you experience contents like games, movies, and shows in 3D.
When it comes to compatibility, this new headset will work with some of the high-end Samsung devices like the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+
