On September 27 Samsung is going to host an event in New Delhi where they might be announcing their first metal frame device, the Galaxy Alpha. Invite doesn’t say much about which device is going to be launch, all it says is “Next Generation Stylephone”.

Samsung-Galaxy-Alpha

Samsung is always criticized for making plastic body smartphone, but this time Samsung has introduced a smartphone which has metal frame around it to give you a true premium feel.

Just to recap specs, Samsung Galaxy Alpha flaunts a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display screen with screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, under the hood its powered by an Octa-Core Exynos processor based on ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture with two set of 1.8 GHz Quad + 1.3GHz Quad processor paired with 2Gb of RAM and has 32 GB of internal storage and misses microSD card solt.

At back Galaxy Alpha has got 12MP rear camera with LED Flash, it can record 4K Video, at front it has 2.1 MP front facing camera. We will be more than happy if its performance will be similar to of Galaxy S 5. For connectivity it has 4G LTE-A Cat.6 / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2X2 MIMO), Bluetooth v4.0 LE, GPS, NFC, it do support LTE but we have our doubts on its working in India. It houses a 1860 mAh battery and as per software front it runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat wrapped with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.

At this time price is not revealed anything regarding price but we hope it will be around Rs. 40,000, and as Samsung is going to launch Galaxy Alpha which means there could be a delay in the launch of Galaxy Note 4.
