After lots of buzz, last year Reliance has launched its 4G service for its employees and they were given a 4G enabled Jio SIM which they can use, earlier this year company has announced that Reliance employees can invite their family members to try this high-speed 4G service, each employee has got 10 invites, which means they can invite up to 10 new members to the board.
If you too want to try Reliance Jio 4G but failed to get invite till now, then here is a good news for you, company has lifted invite system and now anyone can buy Reliance Jio 4G SIM, but there is a catch, to get Reliance Jio 4G SIM, you need to buy an LYF smartphone.
You can select any of LYF mobile device which ranges from Rs. 3999 to Rs. 19000 and they are available across Reliance and other stores all across the country. All of these devices supports VoLTE for HD voice calling and 4G, and as soon as you purchase an LYF device, you will get Jio 4G SIM.
Biggest talking point over here is that this Jio SIM will come with 45 00free minutes of talk time and unlimited data for the first 3 months.
It might seem a good deal, but just to try network, we don’t think its good to buy a device and then tied up with the same network just to use the number. No doubt, Jio boast high-quality voice calling and high-speed network, and not only this, company has also invested in app ecosystem with apps like JioChat, JioPlay, JioMags, JioMoney, and JioSecurity.
What you guys think, is it a good deal to buy a smartphone just to try network? The company has said currently network is in the testing phase and it is highly possible that company will lift this condition as well in future.
