Right from the launch of its first smartphone, the OnePlus One, OnePlus has adopted a unique invite based system for selling its smartphone, the had used it with OnePlus One, OnePlus 2 and then with OnePlus X as well, but many users were not happy with this system as they have to wait long to get an invite and if someone want device on urgent basis then he might not be able to do so.

On the other hand, OnePlus says this invite system help them to match the demand and supply and ensured there was no unsold stock in any channel. But now the company has decided to ditch its invite system for the upcoming flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 3.

OnePlus 3 will be announced on 15 June in China, and event will kick off at 7:30 AM IST, this event will also be live-streamed in virtual reality from its newly created virtual space station called ‘The Loop’. Company is going to sell its new Loop VR headset which it built in partnership with ANTVR, it will be available via an Amazon Indian app only sale on June 3 and June 7 at 12PM IST Re 1, shipping charges extra.

As of now what we know about this device is, it will feature a 5.5-inch fill HD (1080p) display, powered by Qualcomm’s flagship SoC, the Snapdragon 820 quad-core SoC along with 4GB or 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage.

For photographic, it features16-megapixel rear and 8-megpaixel front-facing camera, it houses a 3,000mAh non-removable battery with ‘Dash Charge’ feature and for connectivity, it will support 4G LTE with VoLTE support, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. On the software front, the OnePlus 3 will run on Android Marshmallow based OxygenOS.
