At MWC Nokia has unveiled its much awaited Android smartphone, Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia Xl. These devices runs on forked version of Android and as it’s a forked version you wont have access to Google Services like Google Apps and so on but instead runs Microsoft and Nokia apps like Skype, Here Maps and like on.

But XDA member Kashamalaga has managed to root it and run Google apps and Google Play on it. Kashmalag has managed to root Nokia X in just 5 steps and after rooting, device runs Google Apps and Google Play store from where you can download and install other Android apps.

Nokia has reportedly left application framework untouched so that it allows apps from third-party app stores to be installed on phone and this is the main reason of being rooted.

Keep in mind that rooting will void your warranty and its illegal in many part of the world.
