Couple of weeks ago Nokia surprised us with the launch of Android Lollipop powered tablet, the Nokia N1, now if we believe on latest leak then Nokia might be working on a full fledged Android Lollipop smartphone which could be know as Nokia C1. Last year Microsoft has acquired Nokia and as a part of this deal Nokia cant use its brand name till 2016 for smartphone’s which means this phone is not likely to hit shores till 2016.

Also as a part of deal, Microsoft has acquired employees and offices which means if Nokia want to start then they have to start from scratch or they can lease it to some other manufacturer’s like Foxconn, just like they did with Nokia N1 tablet.

If we talk about the leaked specs then Nokia C1 could have 5inch HD display screen, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB ROM, 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front facing camera.

At this time its very early to say anything on this and even if Nokia planning to launch an Android powered device then its not going to happen anytime soon, at least not before 2016. At this time we suggest you to take all these as a pinch of salt.
