After a long wait, Google has officially launched its much-awaited Nexus 5 in India. As Google has already revealed on launch one, the Nexus 5 is priced Rs 28,999 for the 16 GB variant and Rs 32,999 for the 32 GB variant.

As per specs, Nexus 5 sports a 4.95 inch full HD display screen and it is powered by 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2GB of RAM.

At back it has an 8 megapixel rear snapper with OIS. It comes in 16 GB and 32GB variant, it houses a 2,300mAh battery  which company claims can provide 17 hours of talktime and up to 300 hours on standby mode.

For connectivity it has Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and Wireless charging option, as per software, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. Google is also offering Nexus 5 accessories like multiple-colored bumper cases and a QuickCover from LG.

If you want to buy a unit then you can head over to Google Play store and get it from there. LG is also expected to launch the Nexus 5 in India very soon, but LG will only sell the 16GB variant, and it is priced Rs 29,990, which is Rs 1,000 higher than Google’s price tag.
