As expected, couple of minutes ago Lenovo-owned Motorola has announced a new smartphone under its popular series, the Motorola Moto G5 and G5 Plus, jut like last year, this year company has announced two smartphones, but unlike last year where both phones had almost same specs and build features apart from fingerprint scanner, this year both has lots of differences. With Moto G5 and G5 Plus, Motorola wants to repeat the success story which was written by Moto G3 couple of years back and made it one of the most popular smartphones of the company.

Moto G5

Both phones come with metal backplates to give a premium look to them, this time both devices comes with the fingerprint scanner on them, and both runs on almost stock Android 7.0 Nougat.

When it comes to specs, Moto G5 flaunts a 5-inch FHD display screen, under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, along with 2/3/4GB of RAM (depending upon market), it comes 16GB/32GB of internal storage which can be expandable via micro SD card.

When it comes to the photographic front, it comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera along with dual LED flash, there is a 5MP front-facing camera as well for selfies, for connectivity, it supports dual SIM, LTE, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and Micro USB. It houses a 2800 mAh removable battery.

When it comes Moto G5 Plus specs, it flaunts a 5.2-inch FHD display screen, under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, along with 2/3/4GB of RAM (depending upon market), it comes 32GB/64GB of internal storage which can be expandable via micro SD card.

When it comes to the photographic front, it comes with a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, and dual-LED (dual tone) flash, there is a 5MP front-facing camera as well for selfies, for connectivity, it supports dual SIM, LTE, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and Micro USB. It houses a 3000 mAh removable battery and supports Motorola’s TurboPower fast charging technology.

Both devices do supports Moto Display and shake gestures, and they will be getting Google Assistant features which earlier was available to pixel devices, but recently it made its way to LG G6 and soon will be available for many for devices this year.
