Back in July, Motorola has launched two variants of Moto X, the Moto X Play and Moto X Style in an event held in US and as expected, today Motorola has launched its latest smartphone under its X series, the Motorola Moto X Play in India, company was already teasing for the launch of this smartphone from couple of weeks on its social networking websites. Company has learnt from its past experience and they had priced its very aggressively and Moto X Play will be available at the price tag of Rs. 18,4999 for 32GB variant and Rs. 19,999 for 64GB and it will be available exclusively on Flipkart from mid-night.
When it comes to specs, the Moto X Play flaunts an 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display with pixel density of 403ppi, screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and also comes coating which keep your finger prints away from screen, under the hood it is powered by Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz along with with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
When it comes to photography front, it features an 21-megapixel auto focus rear snapper with f/2.0 aperture, dual-CCT flash, Phase Detect Auto-Focus (PDAF), there is an 5-megapixel selfie camera at front as well.
For connectivity it supports dual-SIM card slots, LTE support, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/g/b/n (dual band), NFC and supports MicroSD card for memory expansion up to 128GB, when it comes to software front, it runs on nearly stock Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
