New phone means new processor for Moto X, last year Motorola has used Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro clocked at 1.7GHz which was a bit outdated at that time too, but this time Motorola has gone for good one, new Moto X is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz. It not the latest one but it can handle all day to day task easily and it also improves battery life. Both phone has 2GB of RAM.
