As expected, today Motorola has announced latest version of their mid range smartphone the Motorola Moto G (2015) or Motorola Moto G3, this launch was made in a global launch which happened in India. This smartphone will be available in two variants, the 8GB and 16GB variant which will be available exclusively on Flipkart, and sale will begin from mid night.

As launch day offer, company is providing some launch day offers like 100 percent cashback for 100 buyers, Moto 360 at only Re 1 for 100 buyers, Rs 600 off on Flipkart fashion, 33 percent off on Myntra, free Wynk Plus subscription, and double data offer for six months. Buyers will also get a free Airtel 4G ready SIM card.

When it comes to specs then Moto G (2015) flaunts an 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, under the hood it is powered an Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz along with Adreno 306 GPU, it comes in 8GB which features 1GB of RAM, and the 16GB features 2GB of RAM, you always have option to expand memory up to 32GB via micro SD Card.

When it comes to photography it features an 13-megapixel rear camera along with LED flash, at front it has got an 5-megapixel front facing camera for selfies, it houses an 2,470mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for up to 24 hours of mixed usage.

For connectivity it includes LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Micro USB port and as we have seen in rumors, this Moto G is water resistance with IPX7 certification, but its not dust proof, on the software front, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.

At this price and specs the Moto G (third generation) or Moto G3 will compete against Xiaomi Mi 4i, Xolo Black (First Impression), Lenovo K3 Note and Yu Yureka Plus.
