Nokia was known for its built quality, and when Redmond-based company, Microsoft has acquired it, they didn’t changed it, last month Microsoft has announced its cheapest Windows phone, the Lumia 430, and today Microsoft has launched this smartphone here in India at the price tag of Rs. 5299 and it will be available via both online and offline channels and its sale will go live from today.

If we talk about specs then 4-inch WVGA LCD display screen with screen resolution of 800×480 pixels, means a pixel density of 235ppi, under the hood it is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 dual-core processor along with 1GB of RAM, and it has also got 8GB internal memory which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card, apart from this it also comes with 30GB free OneDrive cloud storage.

As per photography front, Lumia 430 a 2-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera, and a VGA snapper upfront, it houses a 1,500mAh battery which can deliver 8.4 hours of talktime, and up to 24 days on standby mode as per company’s claims. For connectivity it include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, in terms of software, it runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim Update and company has also promised a Windows 10 update.

At this price point you might get some better option in Android segments like Xiaomi Redmi 2, Micrommax Canvas Spark and Motot E.
