MicroMax has launched a new phone X259, its an feature phone with very basic features in, it has an 2.4 inch QVGA screen with resolution of 240×320, its an candy bar type phone. It supports dual SIM.
It has an 0.3 VGA camera at back and supports GPRS and Bluetooth for connectivity, you can download apps on it using M-Store. It also has an 1000 mAh battery which can last a day.
But what new in this phone is that it can be charged by using Solar Energy, the company claims that if it is exposed to Sun light then it can be charged up, Company says that 3 hours of solar charge provides 1.5 hours of talk time.
It’s a quite new thing and first Solar Phone from MicroMax, Now if you are running out of battery then just put your phone in sunlight and get it charged. The phone is available for Rs. 2499
