Earlier this year, India based smartphone company Micromax has announced an Selfie focused smartphone, the Canvas Selfie (Review), now today company has expanded its Selfie series and launched two new smartphone under this series, the Canvas Selfie 2 and Canvas Selfie 3. Company has priced Selfie 2 at Rs. 5,999, it will be avilable from 22nd August and price information of Selfie 3 is not yet available, but company has said it will be available by the end of this month.

When it comes to specs then, Micromax Canvas Selfie 2, it flaunts an 5-inch IPS display screen with screen resolution of 854×480 pixels, under the hood it is powered an quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with 1GB of RAM and also comes with 8GB of internal memory which can be further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.

For photography front it features 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with OV5648 sensor, 4P Largan Lens, and LED flash, for selfies there is an 5-megapixel front-facing camera with OV5670 sensor and 4P lens, it houses an 2,000mAh battery, and for connectivity it has options like dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. When it comes to software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

If we talk about Micromax Canvas Selfie 3, it flaunts an 4.8-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) AMOLED display which is protected with Corning Gorilla glass 3, under the hood it is powered by an quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with 1GB of RAM and has got 8GB of internal memory which can be further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.

For photography it has got an 8-megapixel autofocus rear snapper with Blue Glasses, 5P Largan Lens, and a LED flash, for selfie, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with Sony MX179 sensor and LED flash, front facing camera is capable of taking  78-degree wide-angle selfie shots.

It houses an 2,300mAh battery, and for connectivity it has options like dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS, and when it comes to software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop, as an launch offer company is bundling a Bluetooth-enabled selfie stick with the smartphone
