Couple of day back LG has announced its latest flagship smartphone, the LG G Flex 2 in India, this device was announced in Consumer Electronic Show 2015 in January, its the successor of last year announced LG G Flex. One of the USP of this device is that it comes with a curved display panel which do looks awkward at first sight but at the same time when you hold it in your hand it feels great as well.

At the launch event we got sometime to play with the device and after playing for an hour we can say that if you like to try new things then its the one of the best device you can get, however we do feel somewhere price of this device is on little bit higher side.

Build And Design of LG G Flex 2 :-

LG G Flex 2 comes with curved glass which is its USP as well, and at launch event LG has said that G Flex 2 has got curves at four sides, the front screen curved at 700R; the rear cover curved at 650R; edges curved at 550R and the top and bottom edges curved at 400R.

At front of the device you will get 5.5 inch curved display screen, as it has got curved screen, it is very easy to each all corners of the device and use it with one hand if we compare it with other 5.5 inch devices, however its glossy back panel makes its slippery and need extra care while handling via one hand.

There are no button on any of its sides, just like LG G3 and G Flex you have Power/Sleep buttons along with volume rockers at back, just below your camera module.

At bottom you will find your Micro USB port for charging and data sync, primary mic and 3.5 mm audio jack, top you will find IR blaster and secondary mic for noise cancellation. At back you will find a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash.

It comes with a removable back panel, once removed you will get access to your SIM and memory card slots, it comes with a self healing back panel which can heal within 10 seconds, thanks to the polycarbonate finish on it.

Hardware And Specs of LG G Flex 2 :-

LG G Flex 2 sports an 5.5-inch full HD Curved P-OLED display screen with screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Under the hood it is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and comes in 16GB and 32GB internal storage with microSD card support, for connectivity it has LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Smart Ready 4.1, NFC, and USB 2.0.

Camera of LG G Flex 2 :-

LG G Flex 2 comes with an 13MP rear camera with advanced OIS+ (optical image stabilisation), in our test we noticed that camera quickly focuses on subject and you will be able to snap images at quickly. However when we tested it under dark light it did took some time to focus.

Software Or OS of LG G Flex 2 :-

LG G Flex 2 runs on customized version of Android Lollipop, however despite of customized version you wont fond any useless app or bloatware installed on it. We used this device for an hour and we didnt faced any lag or delay in opening of apps.

Battery LG G Flex 2 :-

LG G Flex 2 houses a 3000 mAh battery which seems little less if you consider 5.5 inch devices but LG has said that as it is couple with Snapdragon 810 SoC, this battery will last long, you can charge the battery from 0 to 50 percent in 38 mins.

Benchmark LG G Flex 2 :-

In our limited test we can only run AnTuTu benchmark on it and LG G Flex 2 got score of 54345 on it.

Final words on LG G Flex 2 :-

LG G Flex 2 seems a nice and powerful device which comes with curved display panel which seems quite handy and stylish, however at the price tag of Rs. 55,000 it will face some issue finding buyers for itself.
