In recent time we had seen that our smartphone’s are becoming more and more smarter and now they can do lots of task for you like they can take selfies for you with just a gesture and lots of more, but their is one thing on which smartphone’s are still lagging behind and still looking for a perfect solution, the Battery, whats the point of all those features in your phone if you cant use them just because of you dont have enough battery in your device.

By launching Lenovo Vibe P1, company is trying to solve this problem, this smartphone comes with a massive battery of 5000mAh and also supports quick charging and some more battery features which we are going to talk soon. At launch event we played with device for some time and here is our first impression with the device.

Build And Design OF Lenovo Vibe P1 :-

Build and design is something which anyone notice on device at first, and same goes with Lenovo Vibe P1, it is made up of aluminum back which surely adds value to the device and it do feels like a premium device in hand.

Lenovo Vibe P1 Finger Print Scanner

At front you will find a 5.5 inch full HD which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, just below your display you will find your home button which also acts as your finger print scanner, it do reminds us of OnePlus Two, apart from finger print scanner you will also get two touch capacitive buttons on either sides and it do lights up.

Just above display you will find your 5 megapixel snapper for selfie lovers, and apart from this there is your nice metallic earpiece and some sensors.

When it comes to connectivity and ports then on right side you will find your power and sleep buttons, these are the metallic buttons and will give you nice feedback.

At the bottom of device you find your Micro USB port for charging and data transfer, on either side you will find grills which looks like speakers on both side but only one of them is speaker and other is your primary microphone.

Lenovo Vibe P1 Battery Saving Buttons

On left side you will find a toggle switch which is for battery saving mode, once you slide it up, it will extend the battery life of your device by turning off all extra features apart from call and SMS.

At top you will find your 3.5mm audio jack for your headphone followed by your secondary mic for noise cancellation.

As told earlier it has got metallic back panel which do feel solid and give premium look and feel, it has got curved edges which allows you to make better grip to it. At back you will find a 13MP rear snapper with dual tone LED flash. As its an uni-body design smartphone, you wont get access to battery.

Hardware And Specs Of Lenovo Vibe P1 :-

When it comes to under the hood features then it is powered by a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor along with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM, and also offers 32GB internal storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. For connectivity it has dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS.

Software Of Lenovo Vibe P1 :-

Lenovo Vibe P1 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with custom skin running on top, it do comes with some pre-installed app, there is nothing to talk about software as of now as we didnt get much time to play with it.

Camera Of Lenovo Vibe P1 :-

Lenovo Vibe P1 comes with 13MP rear snapper with dual tone LED flash, in our test we snapped few images and images clicked under decent lights turned to be nice with good amount of details in it, colors also looks well enough and overall image quality seems nice. At front it has got an 5MP snapper for selfies and images clicked of it also looks good but when you zoom into image you will find some distortion, however it could be due to lighting conditions.

Its just our first impression with camera, we would like to keep our final verdict till we get our review unit.

Final Verdict On Lenovo Vibe P1 :-

Overall this phone looks a solid and also feel premium in hand, the build quality of this smartphone is really, you are also getting finger print scanner on it which do adds value to the device.

However this device is powered by Snapdragon 615 chipset which is known for its heating issue and as it has got metal body so it will get its heats up, so lets our review unit arrive and will let you know more about it.
