Today Lava has launched its flagship smartphone in Iris series, the Lava Iris Fuel 60, the USP and main selling point of this smartphone is its massive 4000mAh battery which can for up to 2 days for a moderate users. This phone is launched at the price tag of Rs. 8,888/- and it will be available from 25th December, 2014 onward, however this is an MOP and you can easily get this phone at much cheaper rate.

Lava Iris Fuel 60

If we talk about the specs, the Lava Iris Fuel 60 flaunts a 5-inch IPS HD display screen with screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels, screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, under the hood it is powered by a 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB internal storage which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

As per photography front it comes with a 10-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash, at front it has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera as well, for connectivity it has dual-SIM card slot, 3G support, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, Micro USB and Wi-Fi. If we talk about software front, then it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, and the company has promised that it will get Android Lollipop update as well. At launch event company has promised that Lava Iris Fuel 50 will also get Android Lollipop update in the month of January or February.

As told earlier this phone comes with massive 4000mAh battery which can provide 32 hours of talktime on 2G. The phone is also equipped with quick charge technology that restricts the charging time to 3 hours 15 minutes.

At this price point the Iris Fuel 60 will be up against the likes of the Gionee M2, and the Micromax Canvas Power, which too feature batteries bigger than 4,000mAh.
