Couple of months back Jolla has launched Sailfish OS powered smartphone, today this Finnish startup has unveiled its first tablet which is too powered by Sailfish OS. This tablet will start to be shipped from next year. Jolla has took Indigogo for $380,000 funding so that they can develop and distribute the Jolla Tablet, first 1,000 backers will be able to buy it for $189, while the next 1,000 backers will be able to buy tablet for $199.

If we talk about specs then, Jolla tablet comes with a 7.9-inch display screen with screen resolution of 2048×1536 pixels with a density of 330ppi, under the hood it is powered by a 1.8GHz Intel quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM and has 32GB internal storage which can be further expandable via microSD

As per photography front it features 5-megapixel camera along with a 2-megapixel front camera, card slot and 4,300mAh battery. For connectivity it has WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro USB.

As per software front it runs on Sailfish OS which is a gesture supported OS, it supports swipes and can be customized. Company also says this OS grows with you and adopts your style and grows with you. Company also said that Sailfish OS multi-tasting allows users to see all running apps on one screen, a feature which is missing on other OS.
