Back in 2011 an ex-Nokian person has launched a smartphone a company, Jolla which is now going to enter into Indian market on 23 September and for this company has tied up with Snapdeal which will provide its smartphone exclusively on its ecommerce website.

As per specs Jolla smartphone it has a 4.5-inch IPS qHD display screen,which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2. It is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. At back it has an 8-megapixel snapper with LED flash, and has a 2-megapixel front facing camera as well. International variant do support LTE but at this point its not clear weather Indian version will support LTE or not.

Jolla smartphone’s runs on Sailfish OS which is Open Source and the USP of this OS is that it has no button and it completely relies on your gesture control which supports swipes and can be customized. Company also says this OS grows with you and adopts your style and grows with you. It allows users to download Android apps this via Yandex and Aptoide Stores and other third-party Android marketplace. Company also said that Sailfish OS multi-tasting allows users to see all running apps on one screen, a feature which is missing on other OS
