Today Indian vendor, Intex has launched another smartphone under its Aqua sub-brand, the Aqua i6, its an entry level Android smartphone. Biggest point is that this smartphone comes with recently launched MediaTek 6582 quad-core processor.

As per specs, The Intex Aqua i6 flaunts a 5 inch FWVGA display screen with 480×854 pixel screen resolution,it is powered by a quad-core processor MT6582 chipset clocked at 1.3 GHz paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.

Other features of Intex Aqua i6 are an 8 megapixel rear camera with flash and a 2 megapixel front camera. For connectivity Intex Aqua i6 has 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and AGPS, and in terms of sensors it has proximity, gesture and G-sensor. It comes with a battery of 1,900mAh which company claims would give over 6 hours of talktime and 220 hours of standby time.

It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and comes with apps such as BIGFLIX, ZAPAK, Matrabhasha, and Intex Cloud app,and offers 5GB of free cloud space to users. This phone is launched at Rs. 8,990
