Today at an event in USA, HP has announced its new 7 inch budget android tablet, HP 7 Plus which costs only $100 or INR 6,000. With this new tablet HP will try to target budget market in some countries like India.

If we talk about specs then HP 7 Plus tablet flaunts a 7-inch WVGA display with screen resolution of 1024×600 pixels, under the hood its powered by ARM Cortex-A7 quad-core processor clocking at 1GHz along with 1GB of RAM and has 8 GB of on board memory which can be expanded by up to 32GB via a microSD card, HP is also offering lifetime 25GB of free cloud storage on Box and also includes Kingsoft Office software.. On software front it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

At back it sports a 2-megapixel rear snapper and has a VGA front-facing camera. For connectivity HP 7 Plus has Wi-Fi and misses Bluetooth connectivity. It houses a 2,800mAh battery which can run for up to 5.5 hours.

HP 7 Plus is availablefor purchase in USA and in few months it will arrive in Europe also but when it will arrive in India
