Earlier this year Chinese smartphone maker has launched a phablet, the Gionee Gpad G4 and now today company has launched its successor , the Gionee Gpad G5 which is priced Rs. 14,999 and it will be available from next week both online and offline.

If we talk about specs, the Gionee Gpad G5 features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with AGC Dragontrail glass protection with screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels, under the hood its powered by powered by a Cortex A7 1.5GHz hexa-core processor and ARM Mali-450 MP GPU paired with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

At back Gionee Gpad G5 features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and has a 2-megapixel front facing camera. For connectivity Gionee Gpad G5 has  Dual SIM, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro USB and FM radio.It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

It houses a 2400mAh battery, which can deliver up to 288 hours of standby time, up to 15 hours of talk time on 2G, and up to 12 hours talk time on 3G network. It features a dual crystal loud speaker with DTS, and it will be available in Black and White colors.
