Ok today I am going to share a little and funny trick with you.If you use Command Prompt usually then you might get  bored by the default Black & Wight color of command prompt.So after this trick you may change the Background & Font color of your command prompt.

So lets start here:-

  • Open your registry Editor by typing “regedit” without quotas in run command.
  • Now navigate to following entry:-

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftCommand Processor

  • Now in the left side pane change the value of DefaultColour entry to any like E4,4E or anything else.Here first value,like E represent to background color and second,4, represent font color.

  • Here is the list of color and there value which may help you to chose your color combination.

0 = Black
1 = Blue
2 = Green
3 = Aqua
4 = Red
5 = Purple
6 = Yellow
7 = White
8 = Gray
9 = Light Blue
A = Light Green
B = Light Aqua
C = Light Red
D = Light Purple
E = Light Yellow
F = Bright White

  • Thats it.Now you will see a new Command Prompt
