As expected BlackBerry CEO has took wrap off from the company’s latest smartphone, the BlackBerry Passport which comes with square display screen which makes this device stand out in the crowd. BlackBerry passport is priced $599 and will be available from today in selected market.

If we talk about specs then, BlackBerry Passport comes with an 4.5-inch square display which has 1:1 aspect ratio and has a screen resolution of 1440×1440 pixels with a pixel density of 453ppi, display screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz along with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. If we talk about storage, it comes with 32GB internal storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.

At back BlackBerry Passport features a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and LED flash, at front it has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, it houses a 3,450mAh battery to which company claims is good enough to last up to 30 hours on a single charge.

Just below screen you will have a three-row QWERTY keypad which is touch-enabled, you can either tap on keys to type or just swipe across keys like we do on an on-screen keypad to type. BlackBerry has that this keyboard is four times more accurate than any other virtual keyboards and it will reduce your typo mistakes by up to 74 percent.

For connectivity it comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, NFC, GPS, Glonass, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, and 4G LTE connectivity. It accepts Nano sim. It measure 128×90.3×9.3mm, and weigh 194.4 grams

If we talk about software front, then BlackBerry Passport runs on the newly BB10.3 operating system. Other than BlackBeryy App World it also comes preloaded with Amazon Appstore for all the Android app needs.
