Last year Asus has announced its first wearable gadget, the ZenWatch which is still to make its way to India, but today in on going Computex event, company has announced next version of ZenWatch, the Asus ZenWatch 2 which comes with design enhancement and some new features. Like the last variant, Asus ZenWatch 2 is build in partnership with Google and it runs on Android Wear.
ZenWatch 2 comes in two sizes, 37mm and 41mm with 18mm and 22mm strap sizes respectively, and three stainless-steel case colors, with 18 different strap material and color combinations, and instantly-changeable and customized watch faces along with an app that lets wearers design their own.
It has got an AMOLED display protected by 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3, it is powered by an unnamed Qualcomm, but some source reveals that just like last year, this ZenWatch too is powered by Snapdragon 400 chip, last year ZenWatch has got IP55 certification for protection from dust and water, this year is has got IP67 which means it can be sit under 3.28 feet of water for as long as 30 minutes.
ZenWatch 2 has also got a crown but Asus hasnt revealed the functionality of this crown yet, Asus also claim that battery of this year model has been improved as compared with last year variant, and it comes with magnetic charger which is easy to use.
