In past few months we had seen that Asus is keep expanding its affordable smartphone series, the Zenfone series which was announced last year in July. By the end of last year company has introduced Zenfone 5 Lite, then company has announced another variant of Zenfone 5, the Asus Zenfone 5 A501 and now company is targeting its lowest end phone of this series and launched Asus Zenfone C which seems to be the big brother of Asus Zenfone 4 as it boast some hardware specifications as compared with Zenfone 4.

Asus Zenfone C

If we talk about specs then the Asus ZenFone C features an 4.5-inch IPS display screen with screen resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, under the hood it is powered by an Intel Atom Z2520 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of internal storage which can be expandable via microSD card.

If we talk about photography front then this department seems to be unaffected, as its carries a 5-megapixel rear snapper however company has added LED flash with EIS for improved low-light conditions, at front it has 0.3-megapixel sensor upfront. Though a new LED flash on the device with EIS for improved low-light performance.

For connectivity it has WiFi, Bluetooth, Micro USB, GPS, and 3G, it houses a bigger battery of 2,100 mAh, and as per the software front, Asus Zenfoe C runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. Asus ZenFone C will be available in Malaysia from next month for MYR 349 (roughly Rs 6,000).
