From quite sometime we are waiting for the launch of Asus Zenfone 2 in India which company has originally announced this year in mobile World Congress 2015, and now company has started teasing for the launch of Zenfone 2, and in this company is not only highlighting its USP but also taking a dig on some other companies like OnePlus, Xiaomi, YU and Lenovo as these companies are using flash sale model to sell their devices.
Company has sent out a media note in which company said :-
Asus to yet again disrupt the Indian Smartphone market soon with Zenfone 2. Taking on Samsung S6 & Apple’s recent launches, the device features 2.3GHz Intel Atom processor with 4GB RAM. No waiting for flash sales or invitations as Zenfone is for all!
If we talk about specs then the Asus Zenfone 2 features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display screen with screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, with pixel density of 403ppi and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, as you can see in image above it has very thin bezels around the display to which company claims that phone features 72 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood Asus Zenfone 2 is powered by Intel’s 64-bit Atom Z3580 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz, and it is “industry’s first smartphone” which houses 4GB of RAM, however it comes in two variants – 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and another with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM, It will be available in three inbuilt storage models – 16GB/32GB/64GB with microSD card support for memory expansion up to 64GB.
As per photography front, Asus Zenfone 2 features a 13-megapixel “Pixelmaster” snapper with f/2.0 aperture, zero shutter lag, and company is saying it as “the world’s best HDR technology.”, at front it has a 5-megapixel selfie camera with 85-degree wide-angle lens, it comes with different modes like Beautification mode, which offers real-time image enhancement, skin softening mode, blush and color correction, eye enhance and cheek thinning.
It houses a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, which lets you charge battery to 60 percent in just 40 minutes, as per connectivity front it include dual-SIM, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Micro USB, if we talk about software front then it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop wrapped under the company’s ZenUI.
