As expected Asus has announced another hybrid device in ongoing CES 2014, the Transformer Book Duet,  which is a 4-in-1 dual-boot convertible tablet with laptop dock. This device has a 13.3 inch display screen which runs on both Windows 8.1 and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, it can be used as a tablet and a laptop by simply docking it with the keypad.

As per specs, Transformer Book Duet comes with a 13.3-inch display with screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and has support for up to 128GB of internal memory in tablet and support for with 1TB of storage space in the laptop.

It has the company’s inbuilt SonicMaster technology and dual speakers on both sides of it, for connectivity it has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support. Its battery allows it to run for up to 5 hours in Windows 8.1 mode and up to 6 hours in Android 4.2.2 mode.

As per the price is concern, it will start from $599 for the Intel Core i3 and 1366x768p resolution variant and $699 for the full HD (1080p) display variant. However there is no word on its availability at this time.

Its very easy to switch between two OS, it offers a single key and Asus claims it will take 4 seconds to switch between OSes.
