As expected, few hours ago Amazon has announced its first smartphone, the Amazon Fire Phone which comes with a unique 3D user interface called Dynamic Perspective, it has 4 camera at front which track  the movement of your head or phone. You can tilt left to navigate menus, and the right to access useful information and shortcuts, like attaching photos to a text message, viewing song lyrics, and more, you can swivel to access to important notifications and quick actions like Mayday, Flashlight, Settings.

Peek keeps your display uncluttered by revealing additional details and quick actions only when you need it. It also support auto-scroll in which you can scroll long web pages or read entire books without ever having to touch the screen.

If we talk about specs, Amazon Fire Phone sports a 4.7-inch 720p display screen, under the hood its powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz along with Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It comes in 32GB and 64GB internal storage variant.

At back it has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 lens and optical image stabilization along with 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, it can records in 1080p at 30 fps from both front and rear-facing cameras, Fire Phone comes with unlimited Amazon CLoud Storage for all photos taken from Fire Phone. It houses a 2,400mAh battery, which can survive up to 22 hours of talktime and up to 285 hours on standby mode.

Fire phone automatically suggests when to turn on High Dynamic Range (HDR). HDR merges multiple exposures into a more detailed, vibrant image, even in back-lit conditions.

Amazon Fire Phone comes with Firefly technology which can easily identifies printed text on posters, magazines, and business cards, make calls, save new contacts, send emails, and visit websites without typing long addresses. It did this via OCR technology and take help of camera viewfinder It can also recognize over 240,000 movies and TV episodes, and 160 live TV channels. Firefly uses X-Ray, powered by IMDb, to show information on actors, plot details, and related content.

If we talk about software front then , Amazon Fire phone runs on Fire OS 3.5, which is a forked version of Android and it doesn’t has access to Google Mobile Services.

Amazon has also announced a series of new features which will debut on Amazon Fire Phone like X-Ray for music which allows you to stream lyrics for tens of thousands of popular songs, plus get easy-to-access artist information, all with an easy tap or right panel tilt, ASAP (Advanced Streaming and Prediction) you can watch movies without being buffer, Fire phone can automatically back up device settings, notes, bookmarks, messages, and apps without the need for configuration or connection to a computer.

You can sync Amazon Fire Phone with your Amazon TV so that you can watch movies on the go on your Fire Phone and finish at home. It comes at $199 for a two-year contract for the 32GB version and will be available on AT&T only.
