Economics Times has reported that India’s top telecom service providers like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and Tata are all set to reduce the freebies and talktime provided by them to users to boost the profit margin.

These companies are planning to reduce the free minute or talktime provided by them to prepaid users so that they can increase their profits in upcoming days. Most of the prepaid users get these vouchers which provide free talktime or minutes to them.

From past some time these telocom companies are tweaking their plans so that they can get most of them. Like Bharti Airtel has reduced the validity of Rs. 28 voucher from 90 days to 60 days which allows users to make notional calls for just Rs.0.012/ second.

On the other hand Idea has increased the value of voucher from Rs. 72 to Rs 97 which allows you to make calls at 1.2 paise per minute. Vodafone has decreased the free minutes provided by them and Tata tweaked STD plans of it.
